Church
As a Church of England School, East Haddon CEVC Primary enjoys close links with our parish Church, St Mary's and we work closely with The Diocese of Peterborough. We aim to provide a Christian environment which is stable, caring and supportive. Our children have the opportunity to learn and develop their spiritual, social and moral integrity.
Our school Vision and Virtues are at the centre of everything we do. Take a look at our Vision and Virtues page for more detail (Key Information/Vision & Virtues).
We hold Collective Worship assemblies every day at school as follows:
Collective Worship themes: | |
Monday: | Hymn practice |
Tuesday: | Family Groups / World View |
Wednesday: | Virtues |
Thursday: | Family Groups / World View |
Friday: | Celebration |

Statutory Inspections: As a voluntary controlled primary school, East Haddon Primary is subject to a SIAMS statutory inspection every three years (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools). One of the things SIAMS inspects is how well the school incorporates certain Christian principles into school life. You can read a summary of how we approach these principles in our school here.
